A new year means new trends in all aspects of our lives. My favorites are fashion and beauty! I have made a list of all the trends you guys need to be on the watch for the rest of winter 2022. Let’s take a look!

Fashion:

Bold Colors

No neutral or boring colors this winter! Bring out the bold colors hot pink, violet, lime green, or red. Whether it’s a monochromatic look or just of pop of accent color, your winter won’t be boring with bold colors.

Shackets

A shacket is a shirt/jacket combo. The classic wool plaid you can’t go wrong with but leather and shearling shackets are becoming a hit in 2022.

Leather Pants

Faux leather leggings have been a staple in past winter fashion but this year faux leather pants are taking over! They are a hit in a straight cut, original black or bold colors like red or olive green. Styling these pants with posh classics, like a slim-fit crewneck sweater or a button-up shirt for a look you can’t go wrong with!

Knee High Boots

This basic element should be on everyone’s winter must-haves list. Whether they are suede or leather, black or brown, you can style this look with skinny jeans or leggings and a tailored blazer or with skirts or dresses that hit at least two inches above the top of your boots.

Retro Ski Wear

That’s right this retro staple is back! On and off the slope make sure to style with modern basics such as straight-leg snow pants over super-slim styles or wide-leg jeans instead of stirrup leggings.

Sweater Dresses

This is my favorite trend this winter. We have stepped away from the curve-hugging styles and transitioned into looser, flowier silhouettes styles. To style add a thin belt at the waist and keep your accessories sleek and minimal.

Feathers, Shearling, & Sparkle

This winter we are stepping away from prints and patterns. Feathers, shearling, embellishments, chunky knitting, croc-embossed scales, and raised woodgrain effects are taking the lead. This trend is perfect for those who prefer neutral hues or monochrome dressing but want to still stay on trend in fashion.

Knit Anything

Not only a great way to stay warm but also a great way to style on trend this winter!

Pleated Midi Skirts

This winter is time to re-invest in the tailored trend. A great romantic flair in style, but also ease in movement. Style with everything from a crewneck knit and flats to a button-down and heels.

Lilac

The color for winter 2022 ladies and gentlemen!

Beauty:

Two-Toned Eyeshadow

For 2022 you don’t have to choose just one color for your eyeshadow, and you certainly don’t have to stick to the same color on each eye! Try playing around with mixed pastels, or opt for a hot pink and bright yellow. There are no rules!

Glossy, Lined Lips

Get the look by tracing the edges of your lips with a lip pencil two shades darker than your lipstick or natural lip shade, layer on your lipstick or lip balm, then gently melt the two together with your finger.

Soft Glam Look

Everyone loves a sculpted cheekbone and glistening highlight but those looks are left back in 2021. Get the look by getting yourself a liquid blush and some fluffy makeup brushes to diffuse the edges on everything from your eyeliner to your eyeshadow.

Glitter

2022 is the year of the human disco ball! On your eyes, on your cheeks, on your lips! There’s no wrong way to use it.

Burgundy Lips & Bold Lips

The grunge of the ’90s is back for 2022. Layer on that burgundy lip color all winter! The bold lip trend isn’t going away anytime soon. Where it everywhere babes!

Statement Blush

Whoever said visible blush means you were wearing too much is… wrong! Get the look by opting for an easy-to-blend blush powder formula rather than a liquid blush. Blend it around the edges of your face in a C-shape. For a glowy finish, dab a dot of liquid highlighter along your cheekbones and brow bones.

Blurred Eyeliner

We are not reaching for the liquid or pencil liners this year! Get the look by packing eyeshadow on a small eyeshadow brush, then blend it along the inner corner of your eyes, extending it out into a wing that almost touches your eyebrows. Re-load your brush and re-trace the line, until you’re left with a “blurred” finish.

Fluffy Brows

I’m still not for sure if this look is for me, but I’m sure it will look great on you babes! Get the look by combing them up with a clear or tinted eyebrow gel or trying that DIY soap brow hack.

Neon Eyeliner

I love that this look can go all by itself no eyeshadow is required! Although it might take you a few tries to perfectly recreate. Get the look with a felt-tip liquid eyeliner. It will help you draw on a clean line without any tugging or skipping on your eyelid.

Green Eyeshadow

The eyeshadow color for 2022 is GREEN! Green is one of the most ignored colors. There are so many different shades to try out also; lime, mint, army, forest green! The options are endless.

Hair:

Graphic Colors

Once again the bold colors aren’t going anywhere in 2022.

Half Up

The basic half up half down style. The key is to create this look is tons of volume without sacrificing that ultra-glossy finish.

Grey Colors

Going grey has always been a sign of aging beautifully. But since the pandemic, more and more women are choosing to forgo that trip to the colorist. If you are looking for a reason to save some money here you go ladies!

Dark Burnette

The dark brunette is the new platinum this year! You heard it here first!

Smooth and Sleek

2022 is all about hair so shiny you can practically see your reflection.

Shaggy Layers

Those choppy layers are back in style babes! The 90s are coming at us full force.

Side Bangs

Side bangs but adds a little spice as in volume. No flat bangs, incorporate volume to face the face this 2022.
The Classic Bob

All bob chops are welcomed in 2022!

Super Model Blowouts

Once again the 90s are coming for us. There are so many products out there now to achieve supermodel blowouts at home.

Twisted Top Knots

The top knot look but with a twist. Take your typical top knot but keep the ends loose to achieve this trend all winter long.

So many different looks to try this winter. There is no chance of getting bored with your style from head to toe! Stay tuned on social media to see if I take on any of these trends this winter. What trend is your favorite this season? Let me know in the comments below! Later, babes!
