Power Moves was the theme this month for the regular Ipsy subscription bag. This month’s mantra is you run the world, swipe on your boldest lip, and conquer every goal like a boss. Whether it’s sticking to the self-care routine or kick-starting the next big thing. Here is what was included in the bag and my thoughts on the products!

The bag itself is so cute! The baby blue matched with the baby pink is a color match made in heaven. The saying on it “power moves” gives off all the girl boss vibes. It’s definitely going in my work bag, cause your girl is the girl boss and is going to make power moves!

First Aid Beauty Hydrating Eye Cream with Hyaluronic Acid

This eye cream is both vegan and cruelty-free. It works 24 hours to help the skin around your eyes feel soft, plump, and hydrated. Key ingredients include a blend of hyaluronic acid for plumping, caffeine for depuffing, cucumber extract, and colloidal oatmeal for soothing. I have got three eye creams through Ipsy, this is the only one I have fallen in love with! The product consistency is so smooth and creamy, not oily, and absorbs quickly. It has been added to my daily skin routine every day. It gets a ten out of ten from me!

Balance Me Pre & Probiotic Radiance Cream

This is a multitasking cream! It has hyaluronic acid and squalane to moisturize and help plump, exfoliating PHAs to improve skin tone and texture, and manuka honey to help keep bacteria and inflammation out of your life. The tip included with this product on the information card is to use it as your A.M. moisturizer. I tried doing that in my morning routine each day this week, I have fallen in love. It leaves my skin feeling clean, energized, and moisturized. I love that it has skin tone coloring which helps with not using as much foundation or concealer in the mornings.  Overall this product gets a ten out of ten from me.

SOROCI Low Hyaluronic Tangerine Booster Serum

We already know that hyaluronic acid helps hydrate and plump the skin but when it is paired with the brightening and firming of tangerine extract it provides a glow-giving effect that lasts all day. Pairing this with the Radiance Cream above in the mornings has become my staple morning skincare routine. I love how it leaves my skin feeling in the mornings. This product gets a nine out of ten from me!

Sophia + Mabelle Small + Mighty Extreme Volume Mascara

The information card states that you won’t believe, the volumizing mascara coats each lash with weightless, buildable volume without clumping, flaking or smudging. While also defining and thickening lashes from the tip to the root with the most fullness. I couldn’t believe how weightless this mascara feels. I typically don’t wear eye makeup that much because it feels heavy on my eyes or that it feels uncomfortable after a while. This mascara I could wear every day without feeling any of those issues! You might see me start wearing eye makeup more often now. This mascara gets a ten out of ten from me!

Half Caked in Bloom Powder Blush in Liv on Sunday

This blush is stated to be long-lasting, with a primer-infused formula guaranteed to last up to 12 hours. The apricot color is very pigmented so a little goes a long way with this blush. It is a little too orange for my liking to use on my cheeks but I have started using it in the outer corner and crease of my eyes. I believe it brightens the eyes and gives the allusion of a no-makeup look. Overall this product gets a seven out of ten from me.

Overall this month’s bag gets eight and a half out of ten from me. I can’t wait to see what the April bag will bring!
