May Ipsy Glam Bag Review

It’s my favorite blog post each month, Ipsy Glam Bag Review time! The five May products I got are valued at $50+. This month’s theme is “Wild Beauty”. The dark floral pattern is gorgeous. The pink and purple shades of flowers look amazing together. Very elegant look, I love it!

Ipsy message this month is, “Delight in all the things that make you feel alive – a fresh mani, botanical skincare, going barefoot in the grass – and let your imagination run wild” A great message for going into the summer months! Let’s open up the bag to see what products I got this month.

The 5 Products for Ipsy Glam Bag Review

Bad Habit Wake Things Up Matcha and Mint Morning Cleanser

The product is an invigoration cleanser that wakes up the skin with a blend of mint and neroli. While it gently cleanses and nourishes the skin with antioxidant-rich matcha and soothing aloe vera. I am very sensitive with what I use on my face for anything product-wise. The first thing I do when I get a new cleanser is checking the reviews. This one had very fixed reviews. I took it as a sign that it would not be worth risking a breakout with my very sensitive skin. I can not give my review on this particular product.

Hempz Pomogranate Herbal Body Butter

This lotion is ultra-rich yet fast-absorbing and infused with nourishing hemp seed oil, shea butter, and antioxidant-rich pomegranate and ginseng extracts to help dryness and give skin a healthy glow. I’m that weirdo that hates the feeling of lotion, i.e. greasy and oily. When the product info stated fast-absorbing, they were not lying. It leaves your skin so smooth, with no greasy or oiling feeling, and smells amazing. Not too much over the power of scent but just enough. This product gets a ten out of ten from me.

Tanais Kajal Pencil in Divine Kalo

The eyeliner is super creamy and blendable, while also being long-lasting with a velvet-looking finish. It takes your regular smoky eye look to new heights. This eyeliner is probably the easiest I have to blend in my makeup currently. It’s definitely perfect if you are doing a smoky eye look each day. This product gets an eight out of ten from me.

Awake by Tarte Lip Therapy Lip Mask

This lip mask helps protect lips from free radical damage and helps stimulate collagen production to get them looking smooth, plump, and pillowy with a blend of nourishing plant oils. Such as olive, argan, and rosehip oils. Love this product! Favorite one of the selections this month. It’s so smooth and creamy. I left it on overnight and my lips were smooth, come morning. The scent is great too! This product gets a ten out of ten from me.

We are Fluide 7-Free Polish in Desert Dawn

This nail polish is a shimmery deep taupe shade. It’s long-lasting, chip-resistant, ultra-shiny, and free of any sketchy ingredients like formaldehyde and phthalates. Which or commonly found in nail polishes. I’m definitely one to have a darker color on my toes than fingers. It’s perfect. I will say it takes multiple layers before the color reaches a dark consistency. This product gets a six out of ten from me.

Overall this month’s Glam Bag kinda left me feeling okay. With the cleanser being sketchy, and a couple of the other products being great it’s ending in a 50/50. I’m looking forward to what the June Glam Bag will be bringing. Laters babes!
