Vicious Lost Boys Series by Nikki St. Crowe
Book One – The Never King
The stories were all wrong. Hook was never the villain.
For two centuries, all of the Darling women have disappeared on their 18th birthday. Sometimes they’re gone for only a day, some a week or a month. But they always return broken.
Now, on the afternoon of my 18th birthday, my mother is running around the house making sure all the windows are barred and the doors locked. But it’s pointless. Because when night falls, he comes for me. And this time, the Never King and the Lost Boys aren’t willing to let me go.
Book Two – The Dark One
I spent most of my life feeling dead inside — until I met Peter Pan and the Lost Boys.
It wasn’t until Pan and Neverland that I finally felt alive. But things are not all full of magic and sunlight on the island. There’s something darker and more sinister haunting the forest. And worse, the fae queen and Captain Hook are ready to fight for control of Neverland and they will stop at nothing to get what they want. Including using the one thing Pan never thought he wanted or needed — me. I’m a descendant of the Darling family and now I belong to him and the Lost Boys. War is brewing — can the Never King get his shadow back and assume his rightful throne? And if he does, where will I fit? Or will all of Neverland be in jeopardy right along with my dark, twisted heart?
Book Three – Their Vicious Darling
The Dark One has finally accepted me…just in time for everything to change. Because Vane’s brother, The Crocodile, has just arrived on Neverland soil and he’s not alone. He’s brought with him members of the royal Darkland family and they want Vane’s Death Shadow back at any cost. Of course, Peter Pan, Vane, Kas, and Bash, they’re all familiar with war. But war isn’t easy when love is on the line. I know those vicious Lost Boys would do anything to protect me. But what if I’m not the one that needs saving? As power shifts on the island and shadows are claimed, all five of us have to let go of who we were, if we have any chance of becoming who we are destined to be.
Monsters & Muses Series by Sav R. Miller
Book One – Promises and Pomegranates
Elena. To most, Kal Anderson is a villain. Harbinger of death, keeper of souls, frequenter of nightmares. Doctor Death. Hades incarnate. They say he stole me. Usurped my fiancé and filled the cracks in my heart with empty promises. Imprinted his crimson fingerprints on my psyche and tried to set me free. They’re not wrong, per see. Except it was my choice to stay.
Kal. To most, Elena Ricci is innocent. Goddess of springtime, lover of poetry, an angel of my nightmares. Little one. Persephone personified. They say I ruined her. Shattered her virtue and devoured her soul like a succulent pomegranate. Embedded my evil as deep as I could possibly get and tried to set her free. They’re not wrong, per see. Except it was she who ruined me.
Book Two – Vipers and Virtuosos
Aiden. From the second I saw her, I knew she’d be my ruin. Sitting all alone at the bar, she looked like an angel. Eurydice in human form; her beauty eclipsed by demons. Now, I’m one of them. The ghost she’s tried for years to escape. Thinking I wouldn’t be able to find her. But I never stopped trying, and now that I have, Her past sins should be the least of her worries.
Riley. From the moment he saw me, I knew I’d ruin his life. Alone at the bar, I dared the monster to come and play. Orpheus in the flesh, with his sad songs and strange obsessions. I became one of them. The siren who calls to the darkest parts of him. Only, I disappeared before he could act on it. But now he’s here, and he wants me to repent for my sins.
Book Three – Oaths and Omissions
Lenny Primrose is a puppet. A temptress sent to make my life bloody miserable. Adored by the public and used for her father’s benefit. Every man wants her, and every woman wants to be her. She’s good for my reputation. That’s the only reason I agree to the little devil’s proposal. I’m game. Willing to play pretend to get what I want. Until what I want is her. Now, there are no rules. I’ll wage a war against the world just to keep her. Even the deadliest men have their vices, and she happens to be mine.
Book Four – Arrows and Apologies
They say every proud man must fall. Mortals who fancy themselves gods will one day kneel. I thought myself invincible. Apollo on Earth. Mocked my brother when he succumbed to such a fate. Before I noticed the blue-haired nymph lurking in the background. Cora Astor shouldn’t have come to this island. She sneered in my direction, beguiling me with her disgust. As a Wolfe, hunting is in my blood. Getting what I want is my nature. Even when I know I can never have it. Though I cannot keep her, I plan to relish the chase.
Book Five – Souls and Sorrows
Nobody asked him to step in. I had everything under control, but by the time I shuffled onstage, there was no chance to stop him. Men ogled and touched as I offered my body and soul to the highest bidder, and I could tell my stranger didn’t like what he saw. Or maybe he did. Maybe he liked it too much, and that was why his number shot up.
A quarter billion dollars and one existential crisis later, Cash Primrose was dragging me down the aisle in the name of convenience. I suppose it could be worse. My new husband treats me as an equal, which is more than most women in my world get. Still, I find myself constantly expecting the other shoe to drop. For the beast who hides himself away, except in the dead of night, to show his true colors. I’m waiting for the monster my mother always promised would come. But maybe that monster is me.
Zodiac Academy Series by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti
Book Two – Ruthless Fae
They tried to break us. They almost did. But we’re not going anywhere.
The Celestial Heirs think the stars are on their side. But they don’t know what’s coming. Fighting them one on one isn’t an option so we have to be stealthy. Remaining under the radar won’t be easy, but if we pull it off, they’ll never suspect our involvement when their lives start falling apart. Besides, they’ve already taken us to the brink of hell, what more can they really do?
Book Three – The Reckoning
The answer to your question will be revealed on the Lunar Eclipse. But when finding the truth, don’t let the shadows take you. The week of The Reckoning has begun. And senior students have been tasked with making the freshmen’s lives pure hell as they prepare to take their fateful assessment. With the Lunar Eclipse on the horizon, Tory and Darcy have more to worry about than just passing their exams. A dark plot is unfolding and the shadows are drawing closer…
Book Four – Shadow Princess
After the events of the Lunar Eclipse, Tory and Darcy must learn to deal with the darkness which shadows their lives. With a secret binding them to Darius and Orion, they must find a way to all work together for the greater good. But some things are easier said than done…
Book Five – Cursed Fates
After the devastating events at Zodiac Academy, we have to deal with this darker world we’re faced with. Lionel seeks to hurt us, the Nymphs seek to hurt the entire Fae race, and between all of it, we just have to try and survive each day as it comes. I’m afraid of everything falling apart, but it looks like it already has.
Book Six – Fated Throne
Fate has torn us apart and sometimes I believe the stars have given up on us altogether. Without my sister, the world seems darker than ever before and the shadows loom thicker, rising up to answer the call of the Shadow Princess and changing the face of Solaria for good. Now Lionel Acrux has the strength to make a move for the throne, I’m not sure how much time we have left to stop him. Our only hope is to find the Imperial Star before he does.
We made the sacrifice the stars called for and we’re paying the price for that decision so it can’t be for nothing. But with the stars turning against us at every move, and the last light in the world seeming to fade, I’m afraid we’re almost out of time. Hope is a dangerous thing. It’s the key to us fighting on. But it could be what destroys us in the end. One thing is for certain, I won’t stop until I have been reunited with my other half and together we will fight to take our crowns. A war is coming. The throne is calling for a new monarch. And someone must answer its call.
Book Seven – Heartless Sky
The winds of fate are shifting, and it finally seems like they’ve been twisted in our favor.
On the run and cast out from society, we’ve been forced to hide from the madman who stole our throne. But as more secrets come to light and my sister and I work harder than ever before to reach our potential and claim our birthright, the end is finally drawing closer. There is no turning from this path now. The curse chases on our heels as time rushes by and the blood-drenched destiny of the man I love looms ever closer just like the monster who stole our throne.
We must prepare for the final battle, but three things are clear now. The cards have already been dealt. Blood will spill for a new future to rise. And the stars themselves can’t help us. The fight for the throne is upon us. All hail the heartless sky.
Book Eight – Sorrow and Starlight
All stars must fall. Bloody, lost, broken. We live to fight another day. But with so much stolen from us, can the fates ever twist in our favor again? My sister and I have been torn apart by shadows and despair, and now we each stand alone. Our sorrow is spun like a web, trapping us tight, and I fear our enemies will soon come to feast upon our souls. But if I have my way, the merciless sky will have dealt us its final fortune. It’s time for us to take back the power that’s been ripped from our grasp and turn the tide of this war. All stars must fall, and all Phoenixes must rise. Long live the Savage Queens.
