It’s Ipsy Glam Bag review time! The five January products I got are valued at $50+. This month’s theme is “The Year of You”. The bag is lavender faux fur. It’s soft and has lime green accents for the zipper. Ipsy’s message for this month’s theme is “This year focus on doing you and discovering whatever makes you happy: perfecting your skincare routine, experimenting with nail art, finding time to read, or reconnecting with friends.” Let’s open up the bag to see what products I got this month.

Ipsy Glam Bag Review

January Ipsy Glam Bag Review Products

Skin&Co Roma Truffle Therapy Face Toner

Tell your clogged pores to get lost when you use this purifying toner. With clarifying rosemary, witch hazel, and cucumber to help soothe and detoxify your skin. Highly concentrated black truffle helps to heal and protect your complexion from free radicals. I was taught that witch hazel is bad for your skin so when I saw the ingredients I was hesitant. Not to mention it literally smells like old perfume from the 70s. This product did not do it for me, 2 out of 10.

Vintage by Jessica Liebeskind Cashmere Lip Pencil in Mocha

Line, define, and enhance your pout with maximum precision when you use this lip pencil. The velvety smooth formula glides onto lips without skidding or tugging, and the natural-looking mocha pigment is flattering for every skin tone. I love the shade of this lipliner. I have been using it with a simple skimmer gloss and it really looks amazingly effortless. This liner gets a 10 out of 10 from me!

Half Cakd 816 Crease Brush

A true multitasker, this custom-cut fluffy brush helps you sweep, pack, and buff out color through your creases. Use it with powders, creams, and liquid products to deposit and blend color to a seamless finish. I love getting brushes in my Ipsy bags. I never have to buy them that way. I’m not kidding when I tell you every brush that I use is from Ipsy. Just another one to add to the collection. 9 out of 10!

Plum Color Affair Nail Polish in On the Move

Get the ultimate mauve-colored mani at home in just a few swipes. It’s 7-free meaning no nasty toxins and boasts high shine and high color payoff. A tip for using nail polish, let the first coat completely dry then add another coat. Repeat the process till you reach the desired pigment. I love the mauve shade of this nail polish. I might just have to buy the full-sized product. This product gets a 10 out of 10!

Milani Cosmetics Highly Rated Anti Gravity Mascara in Intense Black

This gravity-defining mascara helps to boost length and volume in every single lash. Enriched with nourishing castor oil, the nourishing formula won’t clump or smudge for up to 24 hours. The wand is perfect for reaching those smaller lashes in the corners. I’m really picky when it comes to mascara but this one just might be one of my top five. The mascara gets a 9 out of 10!

Overall this month’s Glam Bag did have a deadbeat but other than that it was a great one. I will use be using all the other products till I run out! I will most definitely be purchasing the nail polish for many years to come. The January Glam Bag gets a 7/10 from me! I’m looking forward to what the February Glam Bag will be bringing. Laters babes!
